Dear Friends in Pioneering,
Today at our quarterly luncheon, Chuck Meyers, Director for CSMI,
announced that Pioneers will be allowed to continue operations at the
CSMI facility. I felt as though there was a collective sigh of
relief that washed over the attendees and I felt glad that we still had
a home base that we could identify with.
We should always remember to not take this position for granted.
Where do we go from here? Well, I'm gathering that CommScope
has given our local management the privilege of self-governance. My
opinion is that as long as our managers show results, they will be
allowed to retain this position. We will continue to wait for an
opportunity to introduce CommScope to TelecomPioneering. Our
President and Chief Executive Officer stand ready to explain the
role of Pioneering in the community and the camaraderie that results in
the workplace. As the pieces fall into place, our vision is
that we may be able to slowly achieve a level of pride we exhibited many
years ago- letting the Omaha Metropolitan area know that CommScope
should be considered a good corporate citizen and a welcome addition to
the economy of Nebraska.
I thank all of you for your support and encouragement, and hope that you
follow our progress into the future. Please share this good news
with your friends.
