Dear Editor, 
    Attached find photos of the winners of this year's Project Connect contest sponsored by the Pioneers
volunteer organization.   The winners and their scores are: 
   
1.  Wayne (Nebraska) Middle School-Nicole Craft 4539
2.  Johnson County (Nebraska) Central - Mitch Faris score:  2928
3.  Johnson County- Nate Liberty score:  2823
4.  St. Margaret Mary (Omaha)- Emma Miller 2216

All winners received Best Buy gift cards as well as the teacher for the Grand Prize winner, Ms. Lee Brogie.
 
Project Connect teaches many principles of modern telecommunications through playing 7 different games 
on the internet.  The games are provided free of charge by the Pioneers through their local Heartland Council.
   The Heartland Council currently has the largest Project Connect Community throughout North America,
numbering almost 100 organizations, including 5 Boys and Girls Clubs in the Omaha area.
   The 2009 local Project Connect contest will end in early December and their prizes will be awarded just
in time for Christmas.
